Yesterday, Daniel and Kara took all of the interns to Villas de Pacifico, a resort/hotel on Puerto San José. We weren't actually allowed to swim in the ocean because of the tide and sharks, but we were able to stick our feet in. Oh, and the sand on the beach was BLACK...it was the first time I had ever seen black sand in my life. It was a pretty neat experience. We had a day pass (from 11AM- 4PM) to the resort's pool, free and unlimited drink bar, and lunch. The weather was great, too! I went through a whole bottle of sun tan lotion! It was a really great day of just hanging out by the pool and relaxing!
